We went for a walk to the Lake of the Isles (our closest lake) this weekend. Cody was on a Cross Country Ski trip, and Graham was home preparing for his final exams this week. We made a mistake of only giving ourselves just 1 1/2 hours to do this walk. Olive was thrilled to walk with the boys - she just wants to follow them and bite at them. And Zane only laughs when she bites at him - so she is never going to stop. Oh well.

It was cold. In fact Slade did not wear enough and was cold most of the time. It has been snowing this morning for three hours - so far! We are supposed to get some crazy cold this week. -20 air temp!
ReplyDeleteI don't know what it would take to get my girls into all those clothes - i struggle enough to get them into a sweater on a 45 deg day. Yikes! I'm glad your boys will bundle up. Maybe 12 deg weather might convince the girls. We miss Olive! (Oh! And you too!). Love, C
ReplyDeleteactually, they would probably love it - they often just wear long johns or pj's under their suits. zane spent most of the walk needing his scarf off then on. it made him hot then without it he would be cold. since slade didn't wear enough it was good for him to get to wear a scarf every few minutes.
